Renowned horticulturist Mohamed Hassona, the lead at the Qur'anic Botanic Garden under Qatar Foundation, brings his exceptional expertise to fostering green development. With vast experience in areas such as greenhouse and forestry management, landscape design, and irrigation systems, Hassona is an invaluable asset to the field.

Before joining the Qatar Foundation, Hassona enriched the field through comprehensive plant experiments, developing new varieties to enhance yield, quality, and disease resistance. His education includes a Diploma in Sustainable Desert Environment and specialized training in plant breeding and seed production from Sweden.

Notably, Hassona served as Editor for the proceedings of the International Forum on Islamic Perspectives on Ecosystem Management and Botany and co-authored the book "Plants of Qur'anic Botanic Garden." His global recognition is evident from his official delegation at Expo Milan 2015 and participation in 15+ international seminars.
