| Description | Chateau Zegaani is a wine estate built in 1820 by Prince Alexander Chavchavadze, a great political and cultural figure of the 19th century, as well as the founder of Georgian viticulture. The Chateau is located in Kakhetia, the main wine-producing region of Georgia. Today it is a great historic and architectural asset for studying the development of wine-making in the region and provides evidence of the significant French influence in the process. |
