Roles of the Association:
• Advancing the profession of organic agriculture and its products, and supporting all efforts that contribute to the development of this sector.
• Developing relationships with government entities, non-profit organizations, and the private sector to serve stakeholders operating in this field.
• Raising community awareness through exhibitions and forums.
• Organizing various workshops across the regions of the Kingdom targeting conventional farmers, with the aim of introducing organic agriculture, highlighting its environmental and social benefits, and encouraging their transition into organic farming.
• Contributing to the provision of organic food by supporting sector practitioners both technically and financially.
• Conducting on-site technical field visits for farmers interested in converting to organic agriculture.
• Cooperating with the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture in the implementation of projects related to organic agriculture activities.
• Supporting practitioners in the sector from a marketing perspective by establishing partnerships with the private sector (central markets, e-commerce platforms).
• Identifying challenges facing sector participants and actively working, in coordination with the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, to develop effective solutions
