The Agroecological Centre provides education, training and demonstration of organic agriculture practices to university students, school students, producers and processors, teachers, agronomists, farmers and the general public. It produces and markets fresh fruit and vegetables, grains, etc. and promotes organic farming at national and international events.
The Centre for Agroecology, Water and Resilience (CAWR) is an innovative research centre ￼which focuses on the understanding and development of resilient food and water systems worldwide. Our experienced research team includes both natural and social scientists. Unique to this Centre is the incorporation of citizen generated knowledge - the participation of farmers, water users and other citizens in transdisciplinary research, using holistic approaches which cross many disciplinary boundaries.
We are private university. We have a Department of Post Modern Agriculture. There are about 15 hectares of farm. We do have about 13 hectares of farm been accredited as organic farm mostly planted to organic rice. Several green houses being constructed for fruit and vegetable cultivation. We are very interested in promoting organic farming. We hope we could receive more information about organic practices globally.

Formabio is a network of farming schools. Its aim is to develop courses and information materials about organic farming, provide technical help in organic farming conversion for farming schools, coordinate collaboration between research, associations, and farming schools, and participate in organic events. The network depends on the Ministry of Agriculture.
