Union des agricultrices et agriculteurs bio de Wallonie (UNAB)

The Union des agricultrices et agriculteurs bio de Wallonie (UNAB) is an organisation founded in 1984, dedicated to the promotion and protection of organic farming in Wallonia (Belgium). UNAB represents its 250 organic farmer members, as well as the organic sector as a whole, to drive the transition to more sustainable and resilient farming practices. Officially recognised as an farmers union since 2022, UNAB acts as a strong collective voice, lobbying public authorities and negotiating the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP). We work on a daily basis to defend organic farmers and ensure that regulations and policies support sustainable and fair organic farming.
